Dass digitale Spiele in der Bildungsarbeit weit mehr sind als das Mathelernspiel oder die Simulation zur Schulung der Hand-Auge-Koordination, zeigt die Vielzahl pädagogischer Projekte und Ansätze in diesem Bereich. Die drei Gäste der heutigen Couch machen deutlich, wie vielfältig Games im pädagogischen Kontext genutzt und eingesetzt werden können: Vom Literaturunterricht in der Schule über Medienkompetenzförderung für Erwachsene bis hin zum offenen Gaming-Jugendzentrum.
Welche Grenzen es in der bildungsbezogenen Arbeit mit Games gibt, was sich die verschiedenen Bereiche voneinander abschauen können und wieso es überhaupt Games in der Bildung braucht, wird Christian Schiffer mit seinen Gästen dieser Couch diskutieren.

Digital games in educational work are much more than just a math learning game or a simulation to train hand-eye coordination. This is demonstrated by the large number of educational projects and approaches in this area. The three guests on today's couch highlight the wide variety of games that can be used and applied in an educational context: From literature lessons in schools to media competence promotion for adults and open gaming youth centers.
Christian Schiffer and his guests will discuss the limits of educational work with games, what the different areas can learn from each other and why games are needed in education in the first place.
