Mats (er/ihm) ist studierter Erziehungswissenschaftler und arbeitet als IT-Projektmanager. Im Vergleich zu seinen anderen Hobbies, sind Videospiele eine feste Konstante in seiner Freizeitgestaltung. Dennoch schafft er es auch nach 20 Jahren immer nicht über die Dritte Oberwelt in Super Mario Bros 3 hinaus und fährt auch nach etlichem Durchspielen von renommierten Horrorspielen bei den offensichtlichsten Jump-Scares zusammen. Auch dieses Jahr, darf er die Speakers’ Corner moderieren und die spannenden & kreativen Vorträge der Speaker*innen begleiten.

Mats (he/him) has studied educational science and works as an application project manager. Compared to his other hobbies, video games remain as an elemental part of his spare time. Even after 20 years of experience, he is still not able to pass the third overworld in Super Mario Bros 3 and even though he played through several horror games multiple times, he is still scared by the most obvious jump scares. This year, he will return as the host of the Speakers’ Corner and will guide you through the exciting and creative presentations by the speakers.
